HOW DADS PLAY WITH KIDS

This article I especialy published for those daddys for how to interact and spend their leisure time with their lovely childrens.
Watch any new dad with his baby and chances are you’ll see him lift his baby up over his head and twirl him around. This makes sense because it is said that Dads are more likely than moms to engage in such physical play. But Dads need to speak the language of play and relate to their children on a child’s level.
WHAT IS PLAY?
Play is their “work” and their way of learning about the world around them. Any range of activities can be play, and any play can offer multiple opportunities to learn and practise new skills.
Play is special because it is vital to children’s development. Playtime creates opportunities for children to try to explore and therefore learn.
PLUS POINTS OF PLAY
Learning about the world.
Play creates opportunities to try out new skills, explore imagination and creativity. They also develop intellectually.
Relating to people.
Children learn to communicate and make connections. They develop an understanding of themselves and their relationships with others.
Life’s Lessons.
Dads can impart values in a non-teacher way. Children can learn about their boundaries and cultivate morals.
Value added role.
Playing with Dad confirms the child’s value to an important person in his life. The child feels he belongs.
The beauty of play time is that play comes naturally to most dads. Some of us just need to do it more. In addition, you may also find that playtime with your child brings out the best in you, too.
